University Course Background
In 2022, I was hired as a part-time guest lecturer to teach foundations on product design and design thinking under the “Educational Innovation and IT” module for first and second year university students at the University of the Thai Chambers of Commerce (UTCC). I supported the faculty of education in outlining the module’s structure by advocating for the incorporation of technology and design in the semester’s syllabus. Provided guidance in design activities and career counseling for post graduate opportunities.​
My Contribution
After assessing the coursework’s quality, I am confident that design thinking has been successfully introduced to this university’s cohort. These students are also qualifying to be educators so they can evolve the practice thus potentially amplifying design thinking to younger generations.

Moreover, the university later incorporated more design thinking elements into their syllabus thus setting precedence for other universities and making design education more accessible to Thai students.
